隐匿式化学物中毒是指中毒患者在工作或生活中从未意识到自己接触毒物，自吸收毒物到发生中毒都在不知不觉的情况下发生，谓之隐匿式中毒。它是一种特殊的中毒方式。随着化学物质品种的不断增加与广泛应用，人们接触化学品的机会大为增多。这种方式所发生的中毒病例数也随之上升。由于此种中毒方式隐蔽，毒物剂量、中毒途径及时间不明，影响的脏器不同，临床表现复杂多样，容易造成误诊。因此了解隐匿式中毒的预防方法将有利于疾病的早期诊断及采取有效的处理，以控制中毒事件的发生与发展。
