在过去的卅年,我们目睹了无机化学方面的许多激动人心的发展,可以恰如其分地将此时期视为无机化学这门学科的复兴期。这些发展不仅发生在无机化学的传统领域内,而且,也发生在像化学与物理学之间以及化学与生物学之间的很多边缘领域中。在这个时期,超铀的元素组的某几个元素业经制出;一些惰性气体的、具有确定化学组成的化合物相继问世;具有与自然界使生命功能(如固氮、氧的输送等)延续下去的金属络合物类同生物活性的一些金属络合物也被合成出来;……。笔者拟就这些重大进展中的若干方面,作简略地介绍。
In the past years, we have witnessed many exciting developments in inorganic chemistry that can appropriately be considered as the revival phase of the discipline of inorganic chemistry. These developments have taken place not only in the traditional fields of inorganic chemistry but also in many of the fringe areas between chemistry and physics and between chemistry and biology. During this period, certain elements of the elemental group of the uranium have been made; some inert gas compounds with definite chemical compositions come out one after another; and the continuation of life functions (such as nitrogen fixation, oxygen transport, etc.) with nature Some metal complexes of the same biological activity as metal complexes have also been synthesized. I intend to some of these major developments in progress, for a brief introduction.
