王企贤,新中国第一批特级教师,人民教育家,1927年参加教育工作,1959年加入中国共产党,1979年7月加入中国民主促进会。曾担任民进第六届、第七届中央委员会委员,民进中央教育委员会委员,民进北京市委第七届委员会副主任委员,第八届、第九届委员会顾问,北京市第二届、第三届政协委员。他从教60多年,先后在北京市府学胡同小学,原“国立京师大学附属小学校”(现北京第一实验小学)任教师、副校长,先后被评为北京市先进教育工作者,北京市模范教育工作者,北京市劳动模范,全国文教系统先进工作者。曾出席全国群英大会,受到党和国家领导人毛泽东、刘少奇接见。1980年还受到邓小平同志接见。2003年11月4日病逝,享年98岁。
Wang Qixian, the first batch of new-China special teachers and educators, participated in educational work in 1927, joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1959, and joined the China Association for the Promotion of Democracy in July 1979. He ever served as the member of the 6th and 7th Central Committee of the People’s Democratic Progressive Commission and member of the Central Committee of the People’s Democratic Progress, the vice chairman of the 7th Committee of the Beijing Municipal Commission for Democracy and Civil Affairs, the 8th and 9th Counselor of the Ninth Committee, Third CPPCC members. He taught for more than 60 years and worked as a teacher and vice-chancellor of Beijing Hutong Elementary School and former “Primary School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University” (now Beijing No.1 Experimental Primary School). He has been awarded the honorary title of “Beijing Advanced Education Worker” Educators, model workers in Beijing, advanced workers in the national culture and education system. He attended the massacre of the country and was interviewed by Mao Zedong and Liu Shaoqi, leaders of the party and the state. In 1980, he was also interviewed by Comrade Deng Xiaoping. November 4, 2003 died, at the age of 98 years.
