用小鸡血红蛋白再生试验测定了猪血和肝膏中铁的相对生物利用率(the relative biological availability,RBA)。首先,用低铁基础饲料喂一日龄雏鸡三周造成严重贫血,然后喂给不同剂量的试验铁源16天,观察血红蛋白的再生情况。以硫酸亚铁作为参考标准,测得熟猪血的RBA为90.2%,肝膏为78.4%,生猪血为64.6%。实验结果表明,猪血和肝膏对防治贫血有类似于硫酸亚铁的效果。本实验未发现高温对猪血RBA有不利影响。
The relative bioavailability (RBA) of porcine blood and liver paste was determined using the chick hemoglobin regeneration assay. First, one day old chickens were fed with low iron basic diet for three weeks to cause severe anemia, and then fed different doses of test iron source for 16 days to observe hemoglobin regeneration. Using ferrous sulphate as the reference standard, RBA of cooked pig blood was measured as 90.2%, liver extract as 78.4%, pig’s blood as 64.6%. The experimental results show that, pig blood and liver paste on the prevention and treatment of anemia have a similar effect of ferrous sulfate. This experiment did not find the high temperature on pig blood RBA adversely affected.
