高速钢中钨、铬及钒的复杂碳化物,在钢样电解后与氧化夹杂共存于电解残渣内,较难分离,故电解前须进行淬火,以使大部分碳化物固溶于基体。淬火温度,对 P18高速钢以1260~1280℃为适合,对 P9高速钢以1240~1250℃为宜。高速钢电解分离后,残渣中的碳化物易吸附气体,故需采用双电解液电解,亚硫酸盐双电解液近乎中性,使高速钢的电解得以平静进行。
