喜爱京韵大鼓的人们都知道,刘派和白派是京韵大鼓公认的基本流派。鼓曲艺术形成流派,离不开好的音乐伴奏。对于白派京韵大鼓来说,伴奏乐器是三弦和四胡。对照早年木板大鼓的音乐,白派大鼓的音乐与刘派相比改动的要略少一些,尤其是三弦的伴奏,还是遵从最传统的三弦的旋律。但是,白云鹏先生在宋五、胡十等老前辈的基础上,运用了不少半说半唱的风格和韵味低垂婉转的声腔。白派最有特点的,就是小垛句和甩腔
