我国北方海区,当海面水温稳定下降到19~20℃时室内培育的海带夏苗便由池内移入海中。从夏苗入海到分苗为止,生产上称为夏苗暂养阶段。夏苗入海后由于环境条件,如水温从8~10℃提高到19℃左右,光强由3.000—4.000烛光增强到10.000烛光以上,营养盐及其水流等环境条件均发生了很大变化。无疑地,这些对海带幼苗生长及其形态均产生着重要影响,导致部分幼苗在形态上发生了不正常的变化,称为畸形幼苗。关于畸形幼苗的形成众说不一,目前尚未见系统报导。
