我国东临太平洋,大陆海岸线长达18000多千米,沿海岛屿6500多个,岛屿岸线14000多千米,是世界上重要的海洋国家之一。作为海洋大国,有效维护国家的海洋主权和海洋权益,合理开发利用海洋资源,切实保护海洋生态环境,广泛开展国际合作,实现海洋资源、环境的可持续利用,是时代赋予我们的历史使命。
As the Pacific Ocean to the east, China’s coast stretches over 18,000 kilometers, with more than 6,500 coastal islands and over 14,000 kilometers of island coastline. It is one of the most important maritime nations in the world. As a large marine country, it is the historical mission entrusted to us by the times to effectively safeguard the country’s maritime sovereignty and maritime rights and interests, to rationally develop and utilize marine resources, to effectively protect the marine ecological environment, to extensively carry out international cooperation and to achieve the sustainable utilization of marine resources and the environment.
