“黎兵”是古代海南地方政府控制的以黎族人为主组成的一支军队,是一种“乡兵”性质的地方武装。其主要作用是为了协助官军防御和镇压黎族人民的反抗、稳定和维护海南地方的统治秩序。本文梳理了黎兵从出现直到消亡的近千年历史的发展脉络,对唐宋、元、明、清各个时期的黎兵都进行了详细的探讨和研究。
The “Li Bing” is an army dominated by the Li nationals under the control of the ancient Hainan local government and is a local armed force of a “village soldier” nature. Its main function is to help the officers and men to defend and suppress the resistance of the Li people and to stabilize and safeguard the ruling order in Hainan. This essay combs the development of Li Bing from the appearance to the demise of nearly a thousand years, and explores and studies Li Bing in the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties in detail.
