Scholars at the end of the Qing Dynasty, Zhu Qifeng, had been unable to figure out that the “first and second ends” could be used universally. As a result, students’ compositions were misappropriated and they were stigmatized by people. Since then, he has worked hard to learn, collected 30,000 words, arranged it, cited examples, explained them, and created a 3 million-word word “Resignation.” Later, this book became one of the necessary tools for people to learn ancient texts. The story of Zhu Qifeng’s rise in ridicule has inspired me. no one is perfect. People always expose many of their shortcomings in life, work, and study. Sometimes they even make ridiculous mistakes. For our middle school students, because books do not read much, experience is light, and experience is low, such things are more likely to happen. This requires the spirit of Zhu Qifeng, turning all kinds of ridicule, satire, and bitterness into his own motivation and rising from where it failed. This is what people often say, “knowing shame and being brave.”
