As an educator, Chen Li-dan, in a certain sense, has represented the highest peak of a generation’s inquiry into journalism and communication since his academic level and academic accomplishment. He is the author of many classic textbooks for journalism and communication in colleges and universities, as well as the “great scholar of science” in everybody’s mind. His academic work is second to none in terms of quantity, quality or citation rate.
