The genetic damage of lead and its compounds to contact with lead has gradually attracted the attention of scholars. It has been reported in many literatures that exposure to high doses of lead can cause significant chromosomal damage and the degree of damage is related to its blood lead level. However, there was less data on chromosome damage among workers exposed to lead concentrations up to the maximum allowable concentration. We investigated the chromosomal damage of 84 lead-exposed workers in a printing house and compared the results of the surveys.
