From June to October 1992, in the Changbai Mountain Nature Reserve (altitude 740m), with the modern chemical and biochemical methods, the effects of nitrogen supply on the soil, N nutrition in dominant tree species and N Supply relationship and the relationship with the phenology, the dominant species of N nutrition relationship between dynamic research. The results showed that: (1) The soil moisture content, total N content, NO3-N and NH4-N content in the root layer were similar to those in the upper layer and had a higher correlation with the lower soil layer; (2) Tree species, especially Korean pine, are extremely adaptable to the absorption and utilization of NO3-N, NH4-N and soil N supply during the growing season, and their demand for N is closely related to their phenological conditions. (3) In the middle of the season, N trees used up and down in various forests were not consistent in time and dynamic, which prevented the fierce competition between the species and the demand of N and kept the community stable.
