向警予(1895-1928),原名向俊贤,湖南溆浦县人,是中国共产党创始人及早期领导人之一,女权主义领袖,无产阶级革命家、妇女解放运动重要领导人。早在1915年,向警予于“二十一条”签订后,就在长沙组织学生开展抗议活动。1916年,她创办男女合校的溆浦小学堂并担任校长,传播新知识、提倡新风尚、宣传新思想,培养革命人才,开创了中国男女合校的先河。1918年10月,她和蔡畅等组织湖南女子
