Mao Dun is one of the most famous Chinese writers still alive. His writing involves all aspects of literature: long, short, prose, commentary, translation, and more. He has been engaged in literary work for more than 60 years now ... We were fortunate to be in a gray alley in Beijing and a guest writer’s apartment.
