我所于一九六四年建立,原名为宜昌专署林业技术推广站,一九七三年五月经地区革命委员会批准,与金银岗林场合并,改为宜昌地区林业科学研究所,附设金银岗试验林场.一九六四年建站时.只有五名技术员一位付站长.一九七三年合并时,共有职工36人,其中技术干部8人.现在全所共有职工84人,其中工人58人,干部26人,其中文化大革命前毕业的8人.近几年来,在各级党政部门的领导下,
I was established in 1964 and was originally named Yichang Agency Forestry Extension Station. In May 1973, it was approved by the Regional Revolutionary Committee and merged with the Jinyingang Forest Farm to the Yichang Forestry Research Institute with the Jinyingang Experimental Forest Farm.
