马克·吐温的小说长期以来一直是文评界关注的焦点,特别是他不朽的惊世之作《哈克贝利·费恩历险记》。本文拟以叙事学有关叙事视点的理论为依据,对马克·吐温的名著《哈克贝利·费恩历险记》的叙事视点和叙述声音进行分析:小说《哈克贝利·费恩历险记》的所有文本叙述(包括哈克父亲的死亡以及杰姆获得自由这两个大重要事件)都完全是按照第一人称叙事视角进行聚焦的。因为与隐含作者的价值观有错开的距离,哈克作为一个客观的叙述者,其叙述声音并非完全可信。二者在增强小说真实感和戏剧性、扩展小说叙述张力、表达反讽意味以及突出小说主题方面起到了重要作用。
Mark Twain’s novel has long been the focus of critics’ attention, especially his monumental novel The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Based on the narratological theory of narrative point of view, this article analyzes the narrative point of view and the narrative voice of Mark Twain’s famous book Adventures of Huckleberry Finn: The novel "Huckleberry Finn Adventures All narrative texts (including the death of Huck’s father and Jem’s freedom) are all focused on a first-person narrative perspective. Because of the distance from the implied author’s values, Huck’s voice as an objective narrator is not entirely credible. Both played an important role in enhancing the authenticity and drama of the novel, expanding the narrative tension of the novel, expressing the ironic meanings and highlighting the theme of the novel.
