据1990年底统计,山东省统配煤矿的通信电路已达1188公里,比“七五”初期增加82.76%,其中数字微波通信电路594公里,占50%,音频电缆272公里,占22.9%,明线电路322公里,占27.1%,通信电路的质量得到很大的改善和提高。自动电话交换网的发展速度和自动交换机数量的增加也很快,装机容量已达45000多门,比“七五”初期增加1.23倍。其中纵横制自动交换机31350门,占69.67%,是“七五”初期的17.4倍。电话普及率由“七五”初期的6%提高到13%。专用通信网的发展主要体现在以下五个方面:
