绵阳市游仙区观太乡是1995年10月新建的乡,地处游仙区东南部,距绵阳城区50公里,幅员面积38平方公里,辖8个村102个社(组),总人口13846人,耕地总面积18242亩。建乡以来,乡党委从实际出发,有针对性地开展乡政务、村务、财务公开和民主管理工作,取得了初步成效。过去存在的“干部难当、群众难管、事情难办”的“三难”问题得到根本解决,较好地维护了全乡社会稳定,促进了两个文明建设健康发展。
