《少年派的奇幻漂流》强势开画。在拍了一部完全美国风情的《制造伍德斯托克》之后,李安选择了将加拿大小说家扬·马特尔的小说拍成电影,讲述一个印度少年在南太平洋上度过227天后获救的故事。李安之前的片子涉及了中国家庭、英国经典、美国超级英雄、同性恋、谍战、摇滚等等领域,题材横跨东西、打通雅俗。还有什么片子他没拍过?李安推出了宗教意味浓厚的《少年派》。观众熟悉《喜宴》、《饮食男女》中的烟火气息,理解《理智与情感》、《绿巨人》的故事,讨论一下《断背山》、《色·戒》的争议点。而《少年派》,则是一个“事实不清”、“证据不足”的故事,我们不妨通过李安的三重隐喻去一探究竟。

After filming a completely American-style “Woodstock,” Ang Lee chose to film a novel by Canadian novelist Jan Martel about a 227-day-old Indian boy who survived the South Pacific s story. Ang Lee introduced a strong religious meaning “young school.” The audience is familiar with the fireworks atmosphere in “Wedding Banquet”, “Men and Women in Food”, the story of “Sense and Sensibility” and “Hulk”, and the controversial points of “Brokeback Mountain” and “Lust Caution”. The “young school” is a “unclear facts ”, “insufficient evidence ” story, we may wish to find out through Ang Lee’s triple metaphor.
