德育是职业大学教育的重要组成部分。它对学生健康成长和学校各项工作具有导向、动力和保证作用;对建设“两个文明”、促进社会全面进步具有重要意义。为此,必须重视德育工作,把坚持坚定正确的政治方向放在学校工作的首位。 职业大学德育实施除了领导、体制、机构、制度、经费和物质保证外,队伍建设也是重要的一个方面。职大德育队伍包括专职政工人员,如学校分管德育工作的党委副书记（或副校长）、学生工作处、团委中从事学生思想政治教育的人员、系党支部副书记（或系副主任）、团总支书记、辅导员以及其他专职从事思想政治教育的人员,他们可以列为德育专职教师;其次是“两课”教师;再则是众多的兼做德育工作的专业课教师和党政干部,即全体教职工都负有德育工作的责任。
