铁水用镁脱硫是当今世界上工业化铁水预脱硫中效率高、环境污染小的新工艺。铁水预脱硫所需镁的加入方法大体分三种:早在60年代,用各种特殊技术,将含镁块状料(镁焦、镁铝、镁白云石、盐镁粒、镁合金等)加入铁水之中;70年代开始用喷粉法将镁粉喷入铁水之中;90年代出现用喂线法将镁粉喂人铁水之中。目前,加含镁块状料的方法基本上已被淘汰,喷粉法经20多年不断完善,已成为当今铁水用镁脱硫的主要工艺,喂线法虽然尚处在开发之中,但喂线法固有的长
