在当代法治社会,围绕着德治与法治关系的争论历来没有停止过。与此相仿,古代中国“礼”与“法”的关系也是经久不衰的一个研究话题。忽然之间想起来这样一个比喻,盗用变化一下,“礼”与“法”就像是一片叶子的两面。决不能只看见叶子的这面,而忽略了那面。要知道,正是因为这样相互依存的关系,才有了一片完整的叶子。在历史的舞台上,“礼”与“法”相互依存,相互发展。它们与统治者一起,勾勒了中国古代的治国平天下之伟大篇章。
In a contemporary society ruled by law, the controversy surrounding the relationship between the rule of virtue and the rule of law has never stopped. Similarly, the relationship between the ancient Chinese “ceremony” and “law” is also an enduring topic of study. Suddenly remembered such a metaphor, misappropriating changes, “ceremony ” and “law ” is like a leaf on both sides. Never overlook this side of the leaf, but neglect it.
