- Transmission noise diagnosis is based on highly developed measurement techniques and the introduction of computers. Although it is clear from the fast Fourier transform analysis for a few reasons, many of the influence parameters overlap and therefore do not have a definite attribution to the effect of each measure. Diagnosis using noise analysis is very expensive. - To give the correct conclusion about a single major fault, it is not appropriate to use a common diagnosis. Instead, expensive individual diagnostic engagement must be used instead. - Transmission diagnostics should be placed into the analysis of the entire driveline and only equipment that is important or very expensive is appropriate.
