作者认为，国有经济战略性重组和企业改革的推进，对外商投资来讲，机遇和挑战并存。机遇主要有：（１）利用外商投资的需求增强；（２）外商投资的空间更为广阔；（３）范围有所拓宽；（４）方式更趋多样化；（５）环境更趋完善；（６）跨国公司投资具有相对优势。同时也存在一些负面影响：一是面临新的竞争；二是国内经济环境有限制外商投资的因素；三是资本市场发育阻碍外商投资形式多样化
The author believes that the strategic reorganization of state-owned economy and the promotion of enterprise reform, foreign investment, the opportunities and challenges co-exist. Opportunities include: (1) increased demand for utilizing foreign investment; (2) greater scope for foreign investment; (3) wider scope; (4) more diversified approaches; (5) more complete environment; and (6) Multinationals have a comparative advantage in investment. At the same time, there are also some negative effects: First, facing new competition; Second, the factors that limit the foreign investment in the domestic economic environment; Third, the development of capital markets hinders the diversification of foreign investment
