太行山位于山西省与华北平原之间,西接山西高原,东临华北平原,绵延千里。它是中国东部的一条重要地理界线,其东部的华北平原是落叶阔叶林地带,西侧的黄土高原是森林草原地带和干草原地带,独特的地理优势造就了太行种类多样、各具特色的自然风光。太行山大部分海拔在1200米以上,年平均气温在10℃左右,高海拔、低气温造就了天然的避暑胜地。夏季的太行山山谷清幽,涌泉如瀑,是避暑消夏、畅游山水的绝好去处。
Taihang Mountains is located between Shanxi Province and North China Plain, west of the Shanxi Plateau, east of the North China Plain, stretching thousands of miles.
