原全国美术教育研究会副理事长,中国美术家协会江苏分会副主席、著名画家、美术史论家、美术教育家,南京师范大学教授秦宣夫同志因患病医治无效,于一九九八年元月十一日十四时五十八分逝世,终年九十二岁。 秦宜夫先生是广西桂林人,一九二九年毕业于国立清华大学外语系。一九三○年考入法国高等美术学校,进入吕西安·西蒙教授工作室学习油画。同时在巴黎大学艺术考古研究所及鲁佛学校学习西方美术史。一九三四年回国,曾在北平艺专、清华大学、国立艺专任教。一九四三年应徐悲鸿先生之聘,任中央大学艺术系(南京师范大学美术系前身)教授,直至一九八九年,执教五十多个春秋。 秦宜夫先生是我国现代著名的美术教育家,他学问渊博、见识超群,无论在绘画创作和理论研究方面都作出重要贡献。他是我国

Mr. Qin Yifu is a Guilin native of Guangxi and graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages of National Tsing Hua University in 1929. In 1930 admitted to the French higher art school, into Lucian Simon studio to study oil painting. At the same time at the University of Paris Institute of Art and Archeology and Lu Buddhism school history of Western art. Returned to China in 1934, once taught at Peking Art School, Tsinghua University, and National Arts College. In 1943 he was hired by Mr. Xu Beihong as Professor of Art at the Central University (formerly the Art Department of Nanjing Normal University) until 1989, teaching more than 50 Spring and Autumn Periods. Mr. Qin Yifu is a modern well-known art educator in our country. He has profound knowledge and exceptional knowledge. He has made important contributions in both drawing and theoretical research.
