搜索引擎并不能及时地收录所有网站,也许会几个月都不收录新的网页,并且没有一个引擎所收录的信息量会超过整个网络的16％。既然Web已成为一种主要的信息交流媒体,网络上的信息资源必须更为有效地为人们所利用。
Search engines do not include all websites in a timely manner, and may not include new pages for months, and none of the engines contain more than 16% of the entire network. Since the Web has become a major media for the exchange of information, the information resources on the web must be used more effectively by people.
