In 1997, the world’s dyestuff industry further developed in a more concentrated and specialized direction based on the significant changes in the dyestuffs industry organization in 1996. The first was the Novartis company formed by the merger of Ciba and Sandoz. Novartis was separated from the company by the special chemicals division including dyes in early 1997.
