OBJECTIVE: To study the effect of different metabolic conditions of BMPs family on the healing of condylar neck fracture in young rats by using different metabolic conditions of bone morphogenetic protein (BMPs) family. Methods: The mathematical models of different metabolic conditions of BMPs family were constructed. The changes of Ggb and dgb of BMPs family in the model were observed. Time of formation, full ossification time of buccal callus, average density of bone tissue, bone growth curve and osteogenesis. Results: The model showed that the constant Ggb decreased, which could significantly inhibit the process of endochondral ossification and prolong the complete ossification time of the buccal callus. However, there was no significant change in the time of bone bridge formation. The increase of constant dgb prolonged buccal bone Complete ossification of scab and bone bridge formation time, no intraosseous osteogenic process. Conclusion: This model can be observed that the BMPs family of cytokines can promote the healing of condylar process neck fracture in young rats, and provide a reference for clinical treatment.
