浙江省医学科学院成立于1950年元月,是一所综合性医、药、卫生科研单位,隶属于浙江省卫生厅,位于杭州市西湖之滨,占地70余亩,设有8个研究所、40余个研究室和5个经济实体。8个研究所为:病毒病研究所、计划生育研究所、药物研究所、寄生虫病研究所、卫生学研究所、生物工程研究所、保健食品研究所、医学情报研究所。浙江省实验动物中心、浙江省医学文献检索中心以及浙江省实验动物与安全评价重点实验室设在我院,世界卫生组织在我院设有二个研究合作中心:生殖生理研究合作中心和蠕虫病研究合作中心,卫生部在我院设有临床药理基地,与中国预防医学科学院建有合作中心。五个经济实体为:普康生物技术公司、制药厂、天康综合经营公司、高新技术门诊部、科技开发公司。
The Zhejiang Academy of Medical Sciences was established in January 1950. It is a comprehensive medical, pharmaceutical, and health research institute under the Zhejiang Provincial Health Department. It is located on the shore of the West Lake in Hangzhou and covers an area of more than 70 acres. It has 8 institutes. , more than 40 research laboratories and 5 economic entities. The 8 institutes were: Institute of Virology, Family Planning Institute, Institute of Materia Medica, Institute of Parasitic Diseases, Institute of Hygiene, Institute of Bioengineering, Institute of Health Food, and Institute of Medical Information. The Experimental Animal Center of Zhejiang Province, the Zhejiang Medical Document Retrieval Center, and the Key Laboratory of Laboratory Animal and Safety Evaluation in Zhejiang Province are located in our hospital. The World Health Organization has two research cooperation centers in our hospital: Cooperative Center for Reproductive Physiology and Worm Disease The research cooperation center, the Ministry of Health has a clinical pharmacology base in our hospital, and has established a cooperation center with the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine. The five economic entities are: Pukang Biotechnology Company, Pharmaceutical Factory, Tiankang Comprehensive Management Company, High-tech Outpatient Department, and Science and Technology Development Company.
