新媒体是相对于传统媒体而言,利用先进的网络技术通过数字电视、手机终端和网络媒体等形态为受众提供更为迅捷、更多资讯的新的传播形态。新媒体的出现是现代信息技术高度发达的产物,其形式繁多、讲究互动、信息源广博、受众面高、传播便捷等特征越来越受到人们的喜爱,成为现代传媒产业中的重要力量。
Compared with traditional media, new media is using advanced network technologies to provide new audiences with more rapid and more informational new forms of communication through such forms as digital television, mobile terminals and online media. The appearance of new media is a highly developed product of modern information technology. It has become a major force in the modern media industry due to its various forms, such as interactive interaction, extensive information sources, high audience coverage and convenient communication.
