在动态转换研究中,我们发现,双稳态胆甾相显示的反射率与双极脉冲的寻址序列有关。我们选用了对应于静态工作点高、低电压的两个不同的脉冲幅度。通过这种脉冲的适当排列,可得到用于灰度显示的最终等差反射。与均方根(rms)调制技术相比,该方案首次提出不主要依靠rms电压。在本文,我们研究的是电光和畴特性,并提出一种唯象观点来描述这种效应,同时把原来的驱动方案扩展到行寻址来演示灰度控制。
In the dynamic conversion studies, we found that the reflectivity of the bistable cholesteric phase is related to the addressing sequence of bipolar pulses. We chose two different pulse amplitudes corresponding to the high and low voltage of the static operating point. By the proper arrangement of such pulses, a final equal-difference reflection for grayscale display can be obtained. Compared with the rms modulation technique, this scheme first proposed not rely on the rms voltage. In this paper, we study the electro-optic and domain properties and propose a phenomenological point of view to describe this effect while extending the original driving scheme to row addressing to demonstrate grayscale control.
