Since the ancient times,in the history of Chinese and western civilization,human society has always centered on a man,a woman has been in a weak position.This deep-rooted idea is not only shown in political,economical or cultural affairs,but also in languages.However,with the development of societies and Women’s Movements throughout the world,importance and changes are given to women’s position,these changes has also reflected in the language.This article attempts to analyze the characteristics of the female language form female address,vocabulary in both China and English-speaking countries,as well as the changes of women’s position in the reflection of language.
