油茶的品种和类型是在长期的选择过程中逐步形成的.而油茶品种、类型的调查整理工作乃是集团选择的一个重要环节.遵照毛主席“有了优良品种,即不增加劳动力、肥料,也可获得较多的收成”的教导,我们从一九六○年起,对湘、赣、浙、黔、粤、桂、皖、苏等省的油茶重点产区进行了品种、类型的调查工作,并在此基础上,于湖南的怀化、永兴、衡山及浙江的富阳设点,进行定株观察.现将所得材料整理出来,供参考.不妥之处,请予指正.
