C616车床原设计主电机安装在床腿内的变速箱上,与变速箱的传动轴直接联接。这不仅装拆困难,更严重的是机床正反车时,因电机直接驱动,撞击严重,容易造成变速箱齿轮打牙。北京量具刃具厂六车间机修组将电机从床脚内拿出,安装在地基上(或床身后侧)。利用原安装电机的螺孔,将图示结构与变速箱联接,电机则通过皮带与此结构相连。这种机构解决了 C616车床变速箱打牙的弊病。
