在市政建设中,敷设上下水管、煤气热力管等地下设施,通常采用开槽法或顶管法。前者是传统作法,施工效率低,占地面积大,造价高;顶管法是近年来发展的一种新的施工方法,具有占地少、施工进度快、不中断交通、不拆迁建筑物、公害小等一系列优点。所以用顶管法敷设地下管道是今后市政建设的发展方向,是一种新工艺。
