“圆”作为中国文论范畴正式出现于中国首部系统化的文学理论著作《文心雕龙》中,在文本层面、创作论及批评论中均有呈现。考察术语的生成历史,发现“圆”走过了从原始意象到文化关键词再到文论术语的历程,其中外来佛教思想对其在中国文论中的转化再生起到重要作用。佛教思想激活了中华本土之圆,赋予其新的生命力。从理论家个人来说,刘勰的儒家知识分子与佛教徒的双重身份使得圆作为文论范畴的地位自《文心雕龙》始得以正式确立。大而言之,这是本土思想与外来佛教思想共同作用的结果。
As a category of Chinese literary theory, “Yuan ” formally appeared in the first literary work “Wen Xin Diao Long”, which is the first systematic Chinese literary theory. It has been presented in the aspects of text, creation and criticism. Examining the generation history of terms, we find that “Yuan” has gone through the process from primitive imagery to cultural keywords to literary terms, in which alien Buddhism plays an important role in the transformation and rejuvenation of Chinese literary theory. Buddhist thought has activated the circle of the Chinese mainland and given it new vitality. From the individual as a theorist, the dual status of Liu Xie’s Confucian intellectuals and Buddhists made the circle formally established as a category of literary theory from the moment of “Literary Heart Carving a Dragon.” In large terms, this is the result of the synergy between indigenous ideas and foreign Buddhist ideas.
