英语阅读课在目前的英语教学中占有重要地位,本学科具有题材广泛、内容丰富、涉及问题多的特征,是各年级英语教学的核心部分,也是培养学生英语理解能力、阅读能力的重要渠道。但是在传统的英语阅读教学中,常常将课本文章作为阅读对象,利用课文进行朗诵和讲解,这容易忽略学生的阅读速度和理解能力。因此,为了更好的提高学生的理解能力和水平,对不同的阅读活动阶段,必须采用不同阅读理解模式。笔者在长期教学实践的基础上,通过对英语阅读要点分析,简单阐述了有关英语阅读教学新方法。
English reading class plays an important role in the current English teaching. The subject has the characteristics of extensive subject, rich content and many problems, and is the core part of English teaching for all grades. It is also an important channel to cultivate students’ ability of comprehension and reading. However, in traditional English reading teaching, textbooks and essays are often used as reading objects and texts are used for reading and explaining, which easily neglects the students’ speed of reading and comprehension. Therefore, in order to better improve students’ ability and level of understanding, different reading comprehension modes must be adopted for different reading activities. On the basis of long-term teaching practice, the author analyzes the main points of English reading and briefly explains the new teaching methods of reading teaching in English.
