著名导演黄佐临曾教诲学生:他每执导一部戏剧,总是首先认真研读剧本,寻找全剧的“种子”,并围绕这一“种子”,分析人物,调度舞台。并以执导话剧《第二个春天》为例:该剧在诸多矛盾冲突中,要突出表现中国人有志气、有魄力,在军事科技尖端上勇攀高峰,所以,这都戏的“种子”可用毛主席诗词中的精句来概括,即“风雨送春归,飞雪迎春到。”黄佐临的话,给了我难忘的启发:演员每塑造一个成功向舞台形象,应该首先寻找自己所扮演角色的“种子”。 多年来,我先后在《幽兰吐芳》中扮演杨艳萍,《徽骆驼》中扮演了程惠兰,《姐妹皇后》中扮演了陆玉莲,现就这几个人物的塑造,谈谈自己寻找角色“种子”的点滴感受。
