我国自1970年第一次发射人造卫星以来,到1993年,已成功地进行了36次航天发射,共将41颗人造卫星送上了天空.我国的航天技术在一些重要领域已跌身于世界先进水平,广泛应用于国内各个经济领域,并已步入国际市场.从1985年宣布长征系列运载火箭投放国际市场以来,巳先后为瑞典、澳大利亚、巴基斯坦等国成功发射卫星,其中尤以亚洲一号卫星和澳星发射的成功,更使长征系列火箭在国际市场上享有良好的信誉.
