本文以晚清富商胡雪岩及其在近几年掀起的一股“胡雪岩热”现象为出发点，分析了当今社会经济生活中的热点问题。文章认为，胡雪岩是政治高度集中的条件下早期资本主义的产物，是腐朽的封建政治和不规范的商品经济交媾的怪胎，是金钱和权力的私生子。现在出现“胡雪岩热”，说明当今中国还有产生这样怪胎的土壤。这土壤就是不规范的市场经济和高度集中的政治体制。在这样的社会条件下，就出现了一些依靠权力发财的“红顶商人”。
In this paper, Hu Xueyan, a businessman in the late Qing dynasty, and his “Hu Xueyan fever” phenomenon, which were set off in recent years, analyzed the current hot issues in social and economic life. The article holds that Hu Xueyan was a product of early capitalism under highly concentrated political conditions and was a geek of corrupt feudal politics and non-standard commodity economy. He was an illegitimate child of money and power. The emergence of “Hu Xueyan fever” now shows that there are still so many geeks in China today. This soil is a non-standard market economy and a highly centralized political system. Under such social conditions, some “red top businessmen” who rely on power to make a fortune appeared.
