21世纪的孩子必然面临更激烈的竞争和更严峻的挑战,这给21世纪的母亲提出了更高的要求。整体性人力资源开发,特别是孩子(未来人才)的启蒙开发,母亲的作用至关重要。现代社会里的母亲并不完全是自然生成的(即随性而来,有孕为母),女性不应本着“女人总要做母亲”的传统观念去理解“母亲”角色,应该自觉承担起21世纪母亲使命的重任,具备开放性、现代性、责任性的特质。母亲素质的研究也应该引起人才学界及全社会的重视。
