阎云翔,1954年生。1971年奔赴黑龙江双城。美国加州大学洛杉矶分校教授。1971年8月,一个男孩,在山东开往东北的列车上,很饿。他身上是抽去了棉花的棉袄面儿,脚上一双破鞋开了口。一群青年男女有说有笑,看他一眼,递过来一个火烧(烧饼)。男孩饿得不行,他觉得他的胃像个大袋子,怎么也探不到底。犹豫了一下,他没有伸手去接。那一年,阎云翔17岁,口袋里4元8角钱,告别父母弟妹,从山东农村独闯关东,为了逃离饥饿。
