我与《党员之友》相识较早。那还是我1981年在通榆县乡下刚参加工作当老师的时候,偶然的一天,我在校党支部见到了一本刊物,拿起一看,是吉林省委主办的《支部生活》,当时,给我的感觉就是刊物的装帧很朴实,但内容很丰富,而且与我们关系很近。我读了其中关于入党的一些基本知识,觉得很受启发和教育。 后来我发现,这本并不很厚的刊物几乎随处可以见到,影响面很广 于是我开始研究《支部生活》,
