1922年生于广东汕头的吴南生,是改革开放第一批“闯将”、广东省经济特区早期的主要拓荒者。他于1979年3月向中央提议,“广东应在改革开放中先走一步,划出一块地方,用各种优惠政策把外资吸引进来”。邓小平说,就办成特区。他自此负责筹办广东省的深圳、珠海、汕头三个经济特区,任广东省经济特区管理委员会主任、中共深圳市委第一书记、市长。1980年8月26日,《广东省经济特区条例》获批,正式宣布在深圳、珠海、汕头、厦门设置“经济特区”。
Born in Shantou in 1922, Wu Nansheng was the first pioneer in the reform and opening up era and the early pioneer of the Guangdong Special Economic Zone. He proposed to the Central Government in March 1979 that “Guangdong should take the first step in reform and opening up and draw up a place to attract foreign investment with various preferential policies.” Deng Xiaoping said that it will become a SAR. Since then, he has been responsible for organizing the three special economic zones of Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Shantou in Guangdong Province, being the director of the Guangdong Provincial Special Economic Zone Management Committee and the first secretary and mayor of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee. August 26, 1980, “Guangdong Province Special Economic Zone Ordinance” approved, officially announced in Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Shantou, Xiamen set up “special economic zone.”
