Under the correct guideline of TCM science and education, in addition to the general and widespread further training wave among Chinese medicine practitioners across the country, the Central Ministry of Health set up in 1952 a five-year program to cultivate Chinese medicine researchers. A total of 43 trainees, are from the major administrative regions of the opening of Chinese medicine practitioners, after the recommendation and selection by the health authorities around before they came to Beijing to enter the Peking University School of Medicine study.
