语言是社交的重要工具,在社会生活中有很多地方存在着对女性的性别歧视,语言当中同样如此。英语中很多词汇的使用都存在着对性别歧视,这也逐渐受到社会各界的重视。语言与文化密不可分,从文化的角度解读和分析英语词汇中的性别歧视,能够深入挖掘歧视存在的本质原因,从而为消除英语语言中的性别歧视起到促进作用。
Language is an important social tool. There are many places in the social life where there is gender discrimination against women, as is the language. The use of many vocabularies in English is discriminated against by sex, which is gradually being taken seriously by all walks of life. The inseparable relationship between language and culture can explain and analyze the gender discrimination in English vocabulary from a cultural point of view, and can dig deeper into the essential causes of discrimination and promote the elimination of gender discrimination in English language.
