The delineation of Shenzhen adjacent to Hong Kong as a “special economic zone” and its eight years of practical achievements have directly impelled us to re-understand the current relationship between Chinese socialism and contemporary capitalism. The specific geographical location of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone and the economic development achievements made in the development of the relations between the Mainland and Hong Kong have drawn more and more attention.
