1989年1月16日至18日,省水电厅在台山县召开了全省水土保持工作先进集体、先进个人表彰会,参加会议的有各市主管水土保持工作的负责同志、有关先进单位、先进个人代表;省广播电台、《广东水电科技》也派员参加了会议。与会代表共88人。会上共表彰了先进集体20名,先进个人32名;另外从事水土保持工作15年以上的336人,也一并进行了荣誉表彰。
